Thajweed

Tajweed is the science of reciting the Qur’an with proper pronunciation, clarity, and beauty, exactly as it was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The term Tajweed comes from the Arabic root word meaning “to make better” or “to improve.” It involves applying specific rules to the articulation of each letter, observing characteristics like elongation (madd), pauses (waqf), and nasal sounds (ghunnah). Tajweed protects the Qur’an from mispronunciation and distortion, ensuring its words are recited with respect and precision. By learning Tajweed, Muslims not only improve their recitation but also deepen their connection with the divine message of the Qur’an.

தஜ்வீது என்பது அல்குர்ஆனைத் தெளிவாகவும் சரியான உச்சரிப்புடனும் அழகாகவும் ஓதும் விதிகளை உள்ளடக்கிய ஒரு முக்கியமான அறிவியல் ஆகும். தஜ்வீது என்ற சொல் அரபியில் “சிறப்பாகச் செய்வது” அல்லது “மேம்படுத்துவது” என்பதைக் குறிக்கிறது. ஒவ்வொரு எழுத்தும் அதன் உரிய இடத்திலிருந்து உரிய முறையில் உச்சரிக்கப்பட வேண்டும் என்பதையே தஜ்வீது நியமங்கள் வலியுறுத்துகின்றன. இதில் மெதுவாக ஓதல் (மத்), மூக்குருக்கள் (குன்னா), நிறுத்தங்கள் (வக்ஃப்) போன்ற விசேட விதிகள் உள்ளன. தஜ்வீது மூலமாக, அல்குர்ஆன் எப்படி இறைவனிடமிருந்து இறைவாக்கினர் நபி முஹம்மது ﷺ அவர்களுக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தப்பட்டது என்பதைப் பாதுகாக்க முடிகிறது. தஜ்வீது கற்றுக்கொள்வதன் மூலம் ஒரு முஸ்லிம் தனது ஓதுதலை மேம்படுத்துவதுடன், குர்ஆனின் அர்த்தத்துடன் ஒரு ஆழமான ஆன்மீக இணைப்பையும் பெறுகிறார்.
